Born Into Black Nights (Cairn)

Born Into Black Nights is a short adventure for Cairn. 

In the adventure, heroes find themselves in the small town of Bertram's Grove. The people there have been tortured by nightmares of evil undead and terrifying ghosts. They seek relief. The bergomaster's daughter has felt the torture worse of all. 

The heroes soon learn of the tomb of Bertram himself, deep in the woods and disturbed by grave robbers. It is up to them to put Bertram's tortured soul to rest once again and save the people of Bertram's Grove from endless nights of torment. 

Designed for Cairn, the monsters and rules referenced can all be found at cairnrpg.com. Although, the adventure could be easily adapted to a different fantasy ttrpg with minimal adjustment, if one might desire to do that.
