Turkeys of Doom

Turkeys of Doom is a lighthearted modern day horror one-page tabletop rpg about turkeys getting revenge! For far too long, they've been the centerpiece for holiday meals or the preferred cold cut for sandwiches everywhere. They've had enough! 

Players take on the roles of those who are in the way between the turkeys and the end of humanity as they know it. They must face off against the wild turkeys, mutant turkeys, haunting turkey ghosts, and the Great Turkey itself... the lichified skeletal remains from the turkey slain for the first Thanksgiving! 

You'll find here a brief backstory, character creation rules, gameplay rules, monster stats, and a short adventure outline to get you started. Have fun!

Note: With any horror tabletop roleplaying (and any roleplaying, really) it is essential to make sure all players know what to expect as far as violence, gore, situations, or any other type of content in the game. Horror especially has a wide spectrum of what might be ok or offensive to some. Defining the game as something like PG-13 or R in rating, and maybe giving some examples of books or movies with similar degrees of horror content can be an easy way to start the conversation. 

Using something like an X Card is a useful tool, especially if playing with others you've not played with too often, newer players, or those newer to the horror genre. Even though it may seem like everyone is great friends, having a tool like an X Card around is easy to do and if it comes in handy even once, it is worth it. Printable X Card available: here.
