I heard about the One-Page RPG Jam 2023 yesterday and as I was falling asleep, came up with the idea for Your Phone is Dead. Today, I had to write it out.

This is a one-page tabletop rpg that could be played with a GM or solo, although I tend to come up with games with a GM in mind so that's something to consider. If playing solo, then an active imagination would be necessary to fill in lots of blanks.

The character (or characters) are in a modern world and their phones are dead, broken, inaccessible, out-of-order, kaput! They need to get across town. A ride was supposed to be there, but it is not there. Now they must be resourceful.

I thought of my home city while coming up with the ideas for this and I think it would help to play considering a town or city all the players are familiar with, which could be a fictional place.

What a coincidence; Taco Taco is my favorite restaurant!

As far as real feedback, I like how much information is included here without it feeling overcrowded, and the game concept gives a clear objective that lends itself well to a one-page rpg.

Mmm... Taco Taco :-D   Glad you liked that!

Thanks for the feedback. That is what I was going for. I've read a number of one-page rpgs and seems that balance can be a bit tricky, enough to get the imagination going and feel like you have a game on your hands, but not so much that it really should be more pages. I hope you enjoy the game.
