I had the chance to play some more Basics tonight and had a great sesh,  running through some of an adventure I wrote.  Life has been a lot lately and that's how it goes sometimes.  Making some time to squeeze in some gaming has been worth it! Progress is slow sometimes but I keep plugging away at this and other projects.  

The little story arc I ran tonight ends with 3 clear hooks and directions the story can go (of course it may go in a different direction I didn't think of). I've been writing 'scenes' and it has worked out that each one lasts 1-2 hours of play time.  Although we dilly dally a bit,  some groups may get through that amount of story more quickly.  The action has been good.  The players have thought of creative ways to solve the conflicts and surprised me.  The game has held up well although I am always feeling like I'll need to go back and clarify rules.
