The Basics: A Superhero RPG

In The Basics: A Superhero RPG, players take on the roles of heroes in Majestic City, fighting crime and saving the day. The entire basic game fits on one sheet, front and back. Create characters using an D66 table to generate superpowers, and roll 4 ability scores, and there's not too much more. So, making characters is quick! You'll find some rules for making checks and basic combat, and guidelines for making powers work. 

Other than their superpower area, characters in The Basics are human, so the game can be deadly for them. It encourages them to think beyond combat to face challenges. Also contained is a GM guide zine, a Majestic City lore zine, and a Heroes of Majestic City zine with 8 sample heroes.

All zines can be printed front/back (Landscape. Flip on short edge) with one sheet of 8.5X11 paper, folded in the middle, to make a little book. 

Art for the Heroes of Majestic City zine was made by me, the old fashioned way... pencil on paper. Then I took some pics with my phone and cut them out in a paint program. I did a few extremely minor touch ups in the paint program. Nothing fancy, but I do enjoy drawing some super heroes.
